Trainer

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Two to four years related experience or equivalent combination of education, instructor and training. Prior experience in adult classroom instruction desired.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in education or English teaching from a four-year college or university.

Knowledge: Bilingual English-Spanish

Skills: Proficiency with various software applications programs including Microsoft Word, e-learning and platforms, and Excel. Excellent presentation skills and rapport.

Abilities: Measure learning curve and adapt content to classroom needs. Planning and well organized. Spread and maintain teamwork spirit among trainees and co-workers

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the assessment, analysis, planning, design, delivery, and pricing of client training initiatives and act as an indispensable performance consultant to account management within an assigned account(s).
  • Participates in the effective design of adult classroom learners and facilitator materials and post-training follow-up to support client programs to ensure superior workforce preparation.
  • Focus analysis and design of performance solutions or interventions around processes resulting in the greatest revenue impact of assigned accounts. Efficient utilization of staff across accounts to reduce the cost of training activities. Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and managing performance of professional and non-exempt direct reports; providing prompt and objective coaching and counseling; and coordinating, planning, and assigning work for staff in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate measurement and reporting of all assigned Training Metrics to establish accurate statistical baselines and to assist in on-going analysis of account(s). Mentor facilitators and designers to maximize their skill sets in training and facilitation and develop their understanding of quality processes and methodologies.
  • Follow up and meet the training SOP’s.

Reporting:

  • Performance evaluation reports.
  • Training reports to operations director and coordinator.

The trainer will be provided with an assigned area and equipment for training. The material will be requested in advance and will meet calendar deadlines established with the coordinator. Formats and report templates will be provided for each project and will be reviewed upon graduation.
